Tyler Duffield, PhD, is a clinical psychologist specializing in sleep psychology at Providence Psychiatry Clinic-West. “The most rewarding part of my work, ” he says, “is witnessing how drastically improved people’s health and quality of life can be after they overcome insomnia or other sleep disorders.” His approach is patient-centered, with an emphasis on compassion and collaboration. A graduate of Colorado State University, Dr. Duffield attended medical school at Brigham Young University. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship training in behavioral sleep medicine and neuropsychology at Oregon Health & Science University, and has specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I).
